idf.wtf is a cross-play survival server built for people who want a world they can actually stay attached to.
idf.wtf is a long-term Minecraft survival server for Java and Bedrock players on the same world. The point is not to reset constantly or spin up some huge network. The point is to keep a good map alive and give the people on it a reason to keep coming back.
It is small enough that names become familiar, but active enough that the world keeps changing. People build, connect places together, leave signs and paths behind, and expect their work to still matter later.
idf.wtf works because it is built around continuity. The map is meant to last. The community is meant to stick. If you put time into the world, the server should respect that instead of treating everything as disposable.
That approach comes from experience. A lot of the people here were on the old 25dollarphone server, and losing that world made it pretty obvious what mattered: keeping the community together and keeping the history from disappearing.
Today, idf.wtf is its own place. It has its own world, its own builds, and its own rhythm. But it still carries people, habits, and expectations forward from the older community.
That means simple rules, a stable map, and a server that is more interested in being worth logging back into than in constantly reinventing itself.
Origin note: idf.wtf grew out of the old 25dollarphone.com community after that server crashed under griefers and widespread cheaters. The owner never brought it back up. We also host a backup of the old world so that part of the server did not vanish with it. More background lives at 25.pocus.software.
